Sailing the "Gift of Pomerania" towards Stockholm (1938)

Overview

A film report from the Dar Pomorza (Pomeranian Gift) sailing ship's training voyage to Stockholm to celebrate King Gustav V's 80th birthday. The film shows the daily life of the sailors on board the ship, including physical exercise, entertainment and playing with the crew's mascot, the anteater Bear. "Dar Pomorza" was a ship of the Polish merchant navy in the 1930s and at the same time a training ship of the Maritime School in Gdynia - in 1930 it replaced the former sailing ship "Lwów". It was on this ship that the future sailors of the Second Republic of Poland gained experience. Thanks to the reportage "Dar Pomorza to Stockholm", it is possible to see the ship at the time of its greatest glory. The film was reconstructed in 2022 based on two copies found after the war in the USA and the Soviet Union.

Leans Traditional

Primary

The film's central subject matter, a children's story about mice obtaining a cake, is inherently apolitical. Its likely themes of cooperation and problem-solving are universal and do not align with any specific political ideology, leading to a neutral rating.

This animated short film from 1970 features anthropomorphic mice, making traditional human-centric diversity metrics inapplicable. The narrative focuses on a simple adventure without engaging with themes of human identity or societal critique.

Secondary

Based on the available information, the film 'Wyprawa myszy na tort' does not appear to feature any identifiable LGBTQ+ characters or themes. Therefore, its net impact on LGBTQ+ portrayal is categorized as N/A due to a lack of depiction.

The film "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century: Planet of the Slave Girls" does not feature any identifiable transsexual characters or themes. The narrative focuses on science fiction adventure without engaging with transgender identity or experiences, resulting in no depiction to evaluate.

The movie does not contain any action or adventure elements.

This 1938 animated short film does not appear to be an adaptation of pre-existing material with established character genders, nor does it feature historical figures or legacy characters. Therefore, no gender swaps can be identified.

The film 'Wyprawa myszy na tort' features anthropomorphic animal characters (mice). The concept of human race, and thus a 'race swap' as defined, does not apply to these characters.
