Leans Traditional

Primary

The film critiques deep-seated police corruption but ultimately champions an internal cleansing by rooting out individual bad actors, rather than advocating for systemic reform or a broader critique of the institution.

The film features a visibly diverse cast, particularly within the police department, without explicitly altering traditional roles for diversity. Its narrative centers on themes of police corruption and personal redemption, rather than offering a critical portrayal of traditional identities or explicitly foregrounding DEI themes.

Secondary

The film "Street Kings" does not feature any identifiable transsexual characters or themes. The narrative focuses on police corruption and a murder investigation, with no elements related to transgender identity or experiences present in the story.

The film primarily focuses on male characters within the LAPD and criminal underworld. No significant female characters are depicted engaging in direct physical combat or defeating male opponents in such encounters.

Street Kings is an original screenplay, not an adaptation of existing source material or a reboot of legacy characters. All characters were created specifically for this film, therefore no gender swaps occurred.

Street Kings is an original screenplay featuring characters created for the film. There is no prior source material, historical record, or previous installment where characters had an established race to be altered.
