Detailed Bias Analysis

Analyzing...
Leans Progressive

Primary

The film's central conflict is a generic espionage thriller, and its solution emphasizes individual resourcefulness rather than promoting or critiquing any specific political ideology or system, leading to a neutral rating.

The movie features a prominent Black actress in the lead role, which was a notable instance of diverse casting for a mainstream film in its era. However, the narrative itself does not focus on critiquing traditional identities or explicitly promoting DEI themes, instead maintaining a neutral framing for such elements.

Secondary

Jumpin' Jack Flash does not feature any identifiable LGBTQ+ characters or themes. The narrative focuses entirely on a bank employee's accidental involvement in an international espionage plot, with no elements that depict or address queer identity in any capacity.

Jumpin' Jack Flash (1986) does not feature any identifiable transsexual characters or themes. The film's plot centers on a computer operator involved in an international spy mystery, with no elements related to transgender identity or experiences.

The movie does not contain any action or adventure elements.

Jumpin' Jack Flash is an original film with no pre-existing source material, historical figures, or legacy characters. All characters were created for this specific movie, thus there is no prior gender baseline to constitute a gender swap.

Jumpin' Jack Flash is an original film with characters created specifically for this production. There is no prior source material or historical record establishing the race of any character before their portrayal in the movie, thus precluding a race swap.
