Primary

The film's central conflict revolves around personal relationships, memory, and emotional bonds within a fantastical context, rather than engaging with broader societal or political issues. Its themes are overwhelmingly apolitical, leading to a neutral rating.

As an anime film, 'Tenchi Forever!' features characters who are Japanese or alien, rendering the concept of 'traditionally white roles' or 'race swaps' inapplicable. The narrative focuses on personal relationships and emotional bonds, without explicitly critiquing or negatively portraying traditional identities. The film does not incorporate explicit DEI themes as central to its plot or character representation.

Secondary

The film focuses on Tenchi Masaki's emotional journey and his relationships within a predominantly heterosexual harem dynamic. There are no identifiable LGBTQ+ characters or themes explicitly depicted or explored within the narrative, leading to a determination of N/A for LGBTQ+ portrayal.

Tenchi Forever! does not feature any identifiable transsexual characters or themes. The narrative focuses on its established cast and plot, and there are no elements within the film that engage with transgender identity or related issues.

The movie does not contain any action or adventure elements.

The film features the established characters from the Tenchi Muyo! franchise, all of whom retain their canonical genders. The new character introduced in the movie does not constitute a gender swap of a previously established character.
