Overview

Despite loving Lois Lamay Grant Pearson marries his father’s ward Nadine because of a deathbed promise and they depart for South Africa. Eight years roll by Grant & Nadine have a child, Robert, and Lois arrives to teach at the mission. When Nadine is temporarily stricken blind Grant & Lois renew their passion. However, when Robert wanders into the jungle and Nadine in desperation follows him the trauma restores her sight. When a vengeful native incites the tribe to attack the mission Nadine fights beside Robert, despite learning of his infidelity, while Lois cowers in fear. Realizing his true love for her, Robert and Nadine reestablish their bond and reunite.
