Detailed Bias Analysis

Analyzing...
Traditional

Primary

The film's central narrative revolves around the comedic consequences of deception and ultimately champions personal honesty and integrity in relationships, themes that are largely apolitical and universally valued rather than aligning with a specific political ideology.

The film features a predominantly traditional cast without explicit race or gender swaps of established roles. Its narrative focuses on comedic situations and relationships, avoiding critical portrayals of traditional identities or explicit DEI themes.

Secondary

Alibi.com utilizes stereotypical gay male personas for comedic effect and as plot devices. The humor often derives from exaggerated caricatures, presenting these identities as a source of ridicule rather than with dignity or complexity, lacking any counterbalancing positive representation.

Alibi.com features a trans woman character, Mme. Godet, whose identity is revealed as a plot twist. This revelation is primarily played for comedic effect, focusing on the shock and discomfort of a cis male character. The portrayal reduces her trans identity to a punchline, lacking dignity or complexity, and potentially reinforcing harmful stereotypes. The net impact is negative.

The movie does not contain any action or adventure elements.

Alibi.com is an original film, not an adaptation or reboot of existing material. All characters were created for this specific movie, meaning there are no pre-established characters whose gender could have been swapped.

Alibi.com is an original French comedy film from 2016. Its characters were created for this specific movie and do not have prior canonical or historical racial establishments from source material, previous adaptations, or real-world history. Therefore, no race swaps occurred.
