Detailed Bias Analysis

Analyzing...
Center

Primary

The film's central conflict revolves around supernatural horror and individual survival against a demonic entity, with themes of addiction and family dysfunction serving the horror narrative rather than promoting specific political ideologies or solutions.

The movie features visible diversity within its main cast, including a Black female character, without explicitly recasting traditionally white lead roles. Its narrative, however, is a direct horror story that does not engage in social commentary or offer any critique of traditional identities.

Secondary

The film 'Evil Dead' (2013) does not feature any identifiable LGBTQ+ characters or themes. The narrative is entirely focused on a heterosexual group of friends facing supernatural horror, resulting in no depiction of queer identity.

The film "Evil Dead" (2013) does not feature any identifiable transsexual characters or themes. Its narrative focuses entirely on a group of friends battling a demonic entity in a remote cabin, with no elements related to transgender identity or experiences.

The movie does not contain any action or adventure elements.

The 2013 film introduces new characters, with Mia Allen as the protagonist. While she takes on a similar role to Ash Williams from the original, she is a new character, not a gender-swapped version of an established one. No characters from prior installments or source material are portrayed with a different gender.

The 2013 film "Evil Dead" features an entirely new set of protagonists and supporting characters, rather than recasting established characters from the original 1981 film. Therefore, no characters who were canonically established as one race are portrayed as a different race.
