Analyzing...
Leans Traditional

Primary

The film's core conflict, centered on high school social dynamics and personal growth, is largely apolitical. While it critiques social hierarchies, the championed solution is individual empowerment and self-acceptance, resulting in a neutral political bias.

The movie features a predominantly white main cast without explicit racial or gender recasting of traditionally white roles. Its narrative centers on personal growth and high school experiences, without explicitly critiquing traditional identities or making DEI themes central to its plot.

Secondary

The film features a minor character, Aldys, who is openly attracted to another girl. This aspect of her identity is presented incidentally, without being central to the plot or subject to ridicule or significant affirmation. It serves as a background detail rather than a developed theme, resulting in a neutral overall portrayal.

The film 'Never Been Kissed' does not include any identifiable transsexual characters or themes. Its narrative focuses on a journalist's undercover assignment in high school and her romantic and social experiences, without engaging with transgender identities.

The movie does not contain any action or adventure elements.
