Analyzing...
Leans Progressive

Primary

The film's central conflict critiques a dehumanizing military-industrial complex and unchecked technological advancement, with the solution being an individual's choice to protect a peaceful community from this oppressive system. This aligns with anti-militaristic and anti-authoritarian themes.

The movie features a cast with some visible diversity, including an Asian actor in a key antagonist role and a Black child in a supporting capacity, though the central hero is a white male. The narrative focuses on themes of survival and military obsolescence, without explicitly critiquing or negatively framing traditional identities.

Secondary

The film 'Soldier' does not feature any identifiable LGBTQ+ characters or themes. Its narrative centers on a genetically engineered soldier's journey of rediscovery and his fight against a new generation of warriors, without incorporating any elements related to queer identity or experiences.

The film "Soldier" does not feature any identifiable transsexual characters or themes. Its narrative is centered on science fiction action and survival, without engaging with gender identity topics, resulting in no relevant portrayal to evaluate.

The film does not feature any female characters engaging in direct physical combat against male opponents. The primary female characters are civilians who do not participate in fighting.

The film "Soldier" (1998) is an original story and does not adapt characters from pre-existing source material, historical records, or prior installments. All characters were created for this film, thus none had a previously established gender to be swapped.

Soldier (1998) is an original science fiction film with characters created specifically for the movie. There is no prior source material or historical record establishing the race of any character before this film's production, thus precluding any race swaps.
