Detailed Bias Analysis

Analyzing...
Leans Progressive

Primary

The film's central thesis explicitly promotes a progressive ideology by humanizing refugees and critiquing right-wing nationalist anti-immigrant policies and rigid enforcement systems.

The movie includes visible racial and gender diversity in its cast, notably a female lead in an authoritative role. However, the narrative primarily uses racial and social tensions as incidental conflict within a survival horror context, rather than explicitly promoting or deeply exploring diversity, equity, or inclusion as central thematic elements.

Secondary

The film 'The Flood' (2023) is an action-horror thriller centered on survival during a natural disaster and predator threat. Based on all available information, the movie does not feature any identifiable LGBTQ+ characters or themes, nor does it address the LGBTQ+ community in its narrative. Therefore, there is no portrayal to evaluate.

Based on available information for 'The Flood' (2023), there is no explicit depiction or discussion of transsexual characters or themes within the film's narrative. Search results do not provide details on how the movie portrays the trans community, leading to a determination of N/A for its impact.

The movie does not contain any action or adventure elements.

The film adapts Yevgeny Zamyatin's stories. Analysis of the source material, cast, and production details reveals no characters whose on-screen gender differs from their established gender in the original works or historical record.

The film is an original production, not an adaptation or historical biopic, meaning characters lack a pre-established canonical or historical race. While one character's name suggests a Hispanic ethnicity, the actor's European descent is not considered a race swap as the character's race was not defined as non-white in prior canon, and ethnicity shifts are excluded.
