Leans Traditional

Primary

The film focuses on the apolitical themes of the spirit of Christmas, the importance of belief, and the value of tradition, without promoting any specific political ideology or critiquing societal structures from a partisan perspective.

This animated classic features traditional casting with no explicit race or gender swaps of established roles. The narrative centers on traditional figures and values, presenting them in a neutral to positive light without critiquing traditional identities or incorporating explicit DEI themes.

Secondary

The film celebrates the cultural traditions and 'spirit' of Christmas, emphasizing themes of generosity, joy, and belief. These aspects, deeply rooted in the Christian holiday, are presented as inherently good and vital for the world.

This animated Christmas special does not feature any identifiable LGBTQ+ characters or themes. The story centers on traditional holiday figures and their efforts to save Christmas, with no elements related to queer identity or experiences.

The animated Christmas special, "The Year Without a Santa Claus," does not feature any identifiable transsexual characters or themes. Its plot centers on traditional holiday figures and their efforts to ensure Christmas happens, thus the portrayal of transsexual identity is not applicable.

The movie does not contain any action or adventure elements.

This film is the primary source for most of its characters, and those based on existing figures (Santa, Mrs. Claus) maintain their traditional genders. No established character's gender was altered for this production.
