Primary

The series explores the destructive nature of dogmatism, critiquing both religious fundamentalism and extreme secularism, and delves into complex themes of artificial intelligence, humanity, and survival without clearly endorsing one political ideology over another.

The series features a diverse cast across its main and supporting characters, reflecting a varied representation without explicitly recasting traditionally white roles. Its narrative focuses on broader philosophical and existential themes, such as belief systems and humanity's future, rather than explicitly critiquing traditional identities or centering DEI themes.

Secondary

Raised by Wolves features Campion Sturges, a central character depicted as non-binary/genderfluid, whose identity is handled with dignity and complexity. The narrative explores their unique biological and existential challenges without framing their gender identity as a source of conflict or negativity, contributing to a respectful and affirming portrayal.

The Mithraic religion, heavily inspired by Christianity, is consistently portrayed as a source of fanaticism, war, and oppression. Its adherents are often depicted as cruel, dogmatic, and prone to violence, highlighting the destructive consequences of blind faith.

The series "Raised by Wolves" does not feature any identifiable transsexual characters or themes. While the narrative explores complex questions of identity, creation, and purpose through its android protagonists, these themes do not directly relate to human transsexual identity or experiences.

The movie does not contain any action or adventure elements.

Raised by Wolves is an original science fiction series created for television. It is not an adaptation of any prior source material, nor does it feature characters from previous installments or historical records. Therefore, all characters are new creations for this specific show, precluding any gender swaps.
