Coma (2020)

Overview

A young and talented architect comes to his senses after a horrific accident only to find himself in the odd dystopian world. A world that is filled with the memories of all current coma patients. Just like a human memory this world is fragmental, chaotic and unstable. This is COMA: icecaps, rivers and cities can all exist in a space of a single room and laws of physics are no longer laws as they can be bent.

Detailed Bias Analysis

Analyzing...
Leans Traditional

Primary

The film's core conflict and solution are rooted in universal sci-fi themes of reality, identity, and individual freedom, rather than explicit political messaging, leading to a neutral rating.

The movie 'Coma' features traditional casting, predominantly with white actors, consistent with its Russian origin, and does not appear to incorporate intentional race or gender swaps. Its narrative focuses on sci-fi concepts of reality and consciousness, without explicitly critiquing traditional identities or centering DEI themes.

Secondary

The film "Coma" does not feature any identifiable transsexual characters or themes. The narrative focuses on a young architect navigating a surreal world constructed from the memories of comatose patients, with no elements related to transgender identity present in the plot or character arcs.

The film features a capable female character, Fly, who participates in combat against non-human entities known as Reapers. However, there are no clear instances where she defeats one or more human male opponents in direct physical combat using hand-to-hand or melee weapon skills.

Coma (2019) is an original science fiction film with no prior source material, historical figures, or previous installments. All characters were created new for this film, thus precluding any gender swaps from established canon.

Coma (2019) is an original Russian science fiction film. It is not an adaptation of pre-existing source material with established character races, nor is it a biopic. All characters are new creations for this film, thus precluding any race swaps.
