Detailed Bias Analysis

Center

Primary

The film's central conflict and its championed solution strongly align with left-leaning values by advocating for personal liberation, sexual freedom, and the rejection of rigid societal and traditional expectations in favor of self-discovery and hedonism.

The movie features some visible diversity in its supporting cast, but does not engage in explicit race or gender swaps of traditionally white roles. Its narrative, a raunchy comedy, focuses on personal liberation from conventional life rather than offering a critical portrayal of traditional identities or making DEI themes central to its story.

Secondary

Dirty Grandpa features LGBTQ+ elements predominantly as sources of crude humor and shock. The film employs harmful stereotypes, depicting characters and situations involving queer identity or gender non-conformity for mockery and degradation, with no counterbalancing positive portrayal.

Dirty Grandpa" features a comedic plot point where a character is led to believe they had a sexual encounter with a trans woman, causing panic. The film derives humor from this premise, playing on the character's discomfort and reinforcing negative stereotypes about trans identity as a source of shock or ridicule, without offering any counterbalancing positive portrayal or critique.

The film portrays Christianity through the character of Meredith and her family, depicting them as hypocritical, judgmental, and controlling. Their outward piety is contrasted with their materialistic and manipulative behavior, serving as a target for satire.

The movie does not contain any action or adventure elements.

Dirty Grandpa is an original film with no prior source material, historical figures, or legacy characters. All characters were created specifically for this movie, thus precluding any gender swaps from established versions.

Dirty Grandpa is an original film with characters created specifically for this production. There is no prior source material, historical record, or previous installment where these characters were established with a different race. Therefore, no race swaps occurred.
