Detailed Bias Analysis

Analyzing...
Leans Traditional

Primary

Political: Leans Right
Confidence: High

The film champions an aggressive, individualistic, and rule-breaking approach to counter-terrorism, portraying such methods as necessary and effective for national security, which aligns with right-leaning themes.

Diversity: Moderate
Confidence: Medium

The movie features primarily traditional casting for its lead roles, with visible diversity in the supporting cast reflecting its Parisian setting. The narrative frames its traditional white male protagonists positively, without offering a critique of traditional identities, and DEI themes are not central to the plot.

Secondary

Islam: Negative
Confidence: High

The film portrays its primary antagonists as radicalized Islamic terrorists whose actions are driven by extremist interpretations of the faith, leading to violence and a plot for mass murder. The narrative offers no significant counterbalancing positive portrayal or nuance regarding Islam itself, focusing instead on the destructive actions of these adherents.

LGBTQ: N/A
Confidence: High

From Paris with Love is an action thriller centered on a U.S. agent and his new partner working to prevent a terrorist attack in Paris. The film's plot and character arcs do not include any LGBTQ+ individuals, relationships, or themes, leading to no portrayal to assess.

Trans: N/A
Confidence: High

The film 'From Paris with Love' is an action-thriller focused on espionage and terrorism. It does not feature any identifiable transsexual characters or themes, thus there is no portrayal to evaluate within its narrative.

Female Combat: No
Confidence: High

The film features Caroline, a female character involved in the plot's climax. However, her combat engagements are primarily with firearms. There are no instances where she or any other female character is depicted winning in close-quarters physical combat against one or more male opponents using martial arts, hand-to-hand, or melee weapons.

Gender Swap: No
Confidence: High

From Paris with Love is an original film, not an adaptation of existing source material or a biopic. All characters were created for this specific movie, meaning there are no pre-established characters whose gender could have been swapped.

Race Swap: No
Confidence: High

This film is an original action movie with characters created specifically for it. There is no pre-existing source material, historical figures, or prior adaptations from which character races could have been established and subsequently changed.
