Detailed Bias Analysis

Analyzing...
Center

Primary

The film's central subject matter revolves around an apolitical supernatural mystery and adventure, with themes of friendship and good versus evil, rather than promoting specific political ideologies.

The series features a visibly diverse main cast, incorporating actors from various ethnic backgrounds in key roles. The narrative primarily centers on its mystery and character relationships, without explicitly critiquing traditional identities or making DEI themes central to its plot.

Secondary

The character Alfie Lewis, originally Appie in the Dutch-Belgian source series, was portrayed by a Black actor in the 2011 adaptation, while the original actor was of Moroccan-Dutch descent. This constitutes a race swap.

The series 'House of Anubis' does not feature any identifiable LGBTQ+ characters or themes. The narrative focuses on a group of boarding school students solving a mystery, with all depicted romantic relationships being heterosexual. Therefore, there is no portrayal to evaluate.

The series "House of Anubis" does not feature any identifiable transsexual characters or themes. The narrative focuses on a group of boarding school students solving mysteries, with no explicit or implicit portrayal of transgender identities or experiences.

The movie does not contain any action or adventure elements.

House of Anubis is an original series, not an adaptation or reboot of pre-existing material. All characters were created for the show, meaning there are no prior canonical or historically established characters whose gender could have been swapped.
