Detailed Bias Analysis

Analyzing...
Leans Traditional

Primary

The series addresses personal emotional turmoil through romance and a shift to rural life, maintaining neutrality by avoiding ideological positions. The apolitical focus on individual solutions determines the centrist rating.

The series features an all-Korean cast in roles fitting its South Korean setting and origin. Its narrative highlights romance, emotional recovery, and rural simplicity, portraying traditional male and heterosexual dynamics positively without any critique or inclusion of DEI elements.

Secondary

The drama highlights an uncle's devoted role in raising his nephew after parental abandonment, portraying biological family ties critically while endorsing alternative familial support. This emphasis on chosen family over traditional structures drives a progressive framing of family norms.

The series contains no LGBTQ+ characters or themes. Its narrative centers on heterosexual romance and personal growth without addressing queer identities or experiences.

The series features no transsexual characters or themes. It portrays a straightforward heterosexual romance focused on healing and emotional growth in a rural setting, with the central arc following Yoon Bom's budding relationship with Jung Jae-gyu.

The movie does not contain any action or adventure elements.

Spring Fever faithfully adapts the web novel by Baek Min-a, retaining the female gender for protagonist Yoon Bom and male for the lead romantic interest, with no character gender alterations.

Spring Fever adapts a Korean web novel featuring Korean characters, all portrayed by Korean actors without any racial changes from the source material.
