Primary

The film centers on an individual's fight against a powerful, unethical corporation engaged in genetic experimentation, presenting a clear good-versus-evil narrative that emphasizes individual heroism and the dangers of unchecked power without explicitly promoting a specific political ideology.

The movie features a cast of characters that are diverse relative to a Western mainstream context, consistent with its Japanese origin, without explicitly recasting traditionally white roles. Its narrative focuses on sci-fi action themes and does not include any explicit critique or negative portrayal of traditional identities.

Secondary

The film "The Guyver: Bio-Booster Armor" (1989) does not feature any identifiable transsexual characters or themes. The narrative focuses on sci-fi action, body horror, and a battle against a villainous corporation, with no elements related to transgender identity or experiences.

The film does not feature any female characters engaging in direct physical combat. The primary female character, Mizuki Segawa, is consistently portrayed in a non-combatant role, often requiring rescue from male antagonists.

The 1989 OVA "The Guyver: Bio-Booster Armor" adapts the manga series. All major characters, including Sho Fukamachi and Mizuki Segawa, retain their established genders from the source material in this adaptation.
