Detailed Bias Analysis

Analyzing...
Center

Primary

The film focuses on universal, apolitical themes of personal growth, courage, and friendship, with solutions driven by individual action and cooperation rather than ideological frameworks, resulting in a neutral political stance.

The film features a diverse voice cast for its animated animal characters, showcasing a range of talent. Its narrative, however, is centered on the adventures of pets and does not explicitly engage with or critique traditional identities, nor does it make DEI themes central to its storyline.

Secondary

The Secret Life of Pets 2 does not feature any identifiable LGBTQ+ characters or themes within its narrative. The film focuses on the adventures of various pets, and no elements related to queer identity are present, leading to an N/A rating.

The Secret Life of Pets 2 is an animated family film centered on the lives of domestic pets. It does not include any transsexual characters or themes, resulting in an N/A rating for its portrayal of such identities.

The film features female characters like Gidget and Daisy who participate in adventurous sequences. However, their actions do not include direct physical combat where they defeat one or more male opponents through skill or strength. Victories are achieved through stealth, deception, or teamwork rather than physical confrontation.

The Secret Life of Pets 2 is a sequel to an original animated film. All returning characters maintain their established genders from the first movie, and new characters are original to this installment. No character canonically established as one gender is portrayed as a different gender.

The film features anthropomorphic animal characters. The concept of 'race swap' as defined, which applies to human characters established in source material, does not apply to this animated film's cast of animals.
