Overview

After being unfairly dismissed from his post as an Air Force aviator, Ubi was reduced to the sad condition of a tramp. Upon discovering that his friend Mão Leve had stolen a watch from the gardens of the Ipiranga Museum, Ubi returned the watch to its rightful owner and was rewarded with a job as a pilot (number 13) on the mail service between Rio and São Paulo. The boss's daughter fell in love with Ubi and insisted he take her on her first trip, to Rio de Janeiro.
