Detailed Bias Analysis

Center

Primary

The film's central conflict focuses on individual corruption driven by a supernatural cursed object, resolved through personal heroism and friendship, rather than engaging with broader political or societal issues.

The film, an anime from a Japanese franchise, features a cast with inherent diversity in character design and background, rather than through explicit race or gender swaps of traditionally white roles. Its narrative focuses on adventure and does not engage in critical portrayals of traditional identities.

Secondary

The film features Nico Robin, who uses her Devil Fruit power to physically overpower and defeat multiple male opponents in direct combat, demonstrating skill in restraining and incapacitating foes.

This film does not feature any identifiable LGBTQ+ characters or themes. The narrative centers on the Straw Hat Pirates' adventure involving a cursed sword and Zoro's personal history, with no elements pertaining to queer identity or experiences.

The film "One Piece: Curse of the Sacred Sword" does not feature any identifiable transsexual characters or themes. Its plot centers on an adventure involving a cursed sword and the Straw Hat Pirates, with no elements pertaining to gender identity. Therefore, an evaluation of its portrayal of transsexual identity is not applicable.

The film introduces new, original characters for its standalone plot, none of whom have a prior canonical gender to be swapped from. The established Straw Hat Pirates maintain their original genders as depicted in the source material.

This animated film features characters whose visual designs and voice actors are consistent with their established portrayals in the original Japanese manga and anime series. There are no instances where a character canonically established as one race is depicted as a different race.
